About The Position

Pregis is seeking a skilled Operator II - Bindery to join our Arlington manufacturing team. In this role, you will help ensure printed products are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule while supporting a safe and productive work environment. This position is ideal for candidates with bindery, finishing, printing, packaging, or manufacturing experience who enjoy working with machinery, maintaining quality standards, and contributing to a team-focused production environment. Requirements

  • Experience operating bindery, finishing, printing, packaging, or manufacturing equipment

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in a bindery, printing, finishing, packaging, or manufacturing environment
  • Experience operating and setting up production equipment preferred
  • Mechanical troubleshooting experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Set up, adjust, and operate bindery and finishing equipment
  • Manage and monitor two or more machines simultaneously
  • Ensure production schedules and customer delivery deadlines are met
  • Review job specifications and production requirements before processing work
  • Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed
  • Maintain production output while meeting established productivity goals and KPIs
  • Accurately complete production documentation and job performance tickets
  • Perform quality inspections throughout production runs
  • Verify finished products meet customer specifications and company standards
  • Follow required testing and quality control procedures
  • Identify and resolve quality issues before products move to the next stage of production
  • Maintain attention to detail throughout all finishing processes
  • Learn and operate various fulfillment and bindery equipment
  • Assist with setup, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance activities
  • Identify equipment issues and communicate concerns promptly to minimize downtime
  • Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Participate in safety initiatives and training programs
  • Support continuous improvement efforts focused on quality, efficiency, and waste reduction
  • Assist in the development and adherence to standard operating procedures
