About The Position

As an Assistant Machine Operator, you will set up, adjust, and operate a single piece of machinery. You will participate in training to prepare for promotion into a Lead Operator position. This role involves inspecting equipment for safety issues, monitoring quality, output, and productivity, and learning to utilize tools to measure and adjust machines to target levels. You will also learn and engage in preventative maintenance tasks, assist the lead operator with providing guidance to crew members, and work in a team environment, cross-training with others.

Requirements

• Ability to do basic math and computer knowledge
• Ability to lift 20-50 pounds
• Ability to stand for the duration of your shift
