About The Position

The Mechanical Bind Operator 3 supports the Packaging and Fulfillment team by performing hands-on mechanical bind operations, assisting with daily make-readies, operating mechanical equipment, and inspecting book quality. This role contributes to on-time production by aligning with daily schedules, maintaining a safe and organized work area, and performing basic preventive maintenance and housekeeping. The position requires reliability, attention to detail, and effective communication to collaborate with supervisors, team members, and cross-functional partners. This is a rotating-shift role that provides on-the-job training and opportunities for growth within the company.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Basic mechanical aptitude or interest in learning mechanical processes.
Strong work ethic, safety awareness, and the ability to work well in a team.
Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
Reliability and attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively in English (reading and speaking).
Willingness to learn, contribute, and grow.
Ability to work flexible shifts as needed.

Previous Bindery Operator Experience preferred

Responsibilities
