About The Position
The Bindery Helper assists with the various operations of our Bindery/Finishing department. If you’re looking to learn a new set of skills and are interested in print production, we invite to you to apply!
Requirements
- Previous experience in a bindery preferred.
- Must be able to complete and pass Public Trust Security Clearance.

Responsibilities
- Assist in operating the shop machinery and equipment.
- Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
- Observe machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunction.
- Measure workpiece dimensions to determine the accuracy of machine operation.
- Remove defective products from workpiece.
- Perform minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies, or workpieces.
- Set up and perform maintenance on machines.
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervision
