About The Position

Spectrum Monthly LLC is looking to add second shift Helpers to its growing Bindery operation in its Print Department. The right person doesn’t need experience in the print industry; we will train enthusiastic newcomers. There is excellent potential for advancement into skilled production roles in offset press, folder, and bindery positions. The successful candidate will provide physical assistance in the operation of bindery equipment under the supervision of skilled operators, load and off-load paper stock and finished products, pack and label boxes, arrange finished product cartons on skids, move pallets of raw materials and finished products, maintain a clean and safe working area, learn the details of running various presses and bindery equipment, and undertake other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Providing physical assistance in the operation of our bindery equipment under the supervision of skilled operators on the production floor
Loading and off-loading paper stock and finished products
Packing and labeling boxes, arranging finished product cartons on skids
Moving pallets of raw materials and finished products
Maintaining a clean and safe working area (including general housekeeping)
Learning the details of running the various presses and bindery equipment in the Department
Undertaking other duties as assigned
