About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Folder Operator with at least three years of commercial bindery experience. This position is responsible for independently setting up, operating, adjusting, and troubleshooting folding equipment while maintaining production, quality, and safety standards. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively and safely in a fast-paced production environment.
Requirements
- At least three years of commercial bindery experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively and safely in a fast-paced production environment
- Ability to work from a standing position and bend/lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs
- Good communication skills
- Excellent attendance
Nice To Haves
- Experience with MBO B-30 with 8-page and 16-page units and hot-glue applicator
- Experience with Horizon AFC-566FKT with knife-fold unit
- Experience with Baum 714
- Experience with Martin Yale 2051
- Willingness to work overtime or adjusted schedules based on production requirements
- Willingness to learn all aspects of job and cross-train as needed
