About The Position
Triangle Services, a family-owned business providing printing, facilities, and aviation management services, is seeking a Bindery Cutting/Folding Operator for its Century Direct Solutions division in Islandia, NY. Century Direct Solutions specializes in data management, data processing, and personalized printing. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a folder machine with stitching and cutting, preferably using a Polar Cutter.
Requirements
- Experience setting up and operating a cutter and folding machine at an expected rate of production
- Ability to read a work order and use it to process an order
- Skilled at performing routine preventative maintenance
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand on feet during the work day
Nice To Haves
- Stitching experience
- Cutting experience
- Experience using a Polar Cutter
Responsibilities
- Setting up and operating a cutter and folding machine at an expected rate of production
- Reading a work order and using it to process an order
- Performing routine preventative maintenance
- Lifting 50 lbs and standing on feet during the work day
- Assisting in clean up and keeping the immediate work area neat and orderly
- Performing other related tasks as requested
