About The Position

The Bin Wash Pallet Jack Operator is responsible for moving all palletized products to their designated areas before being shipped to customers. This role ensures that product is available on the floor to maintain production flow and involves communicating with supervisors about potential slowdowns due to product unavailability. The operator may also assist in staging and loading products for shipment.

Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 pounds regularly.
• 6 months of work history in the last 12 months required.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Must possess a strong attention to details.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not required
• 6 – 12 months of previous experience operating a pallet jack is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take orders from supervisor to keep product on the floor for production needs.
• Prepare pallets for handling items appropriately and create combo Bins.
• Perform pre-checks of the pallet jack to ensure it is in proper working order.
• Utilize Safe Practice habits when operating the pallet jack.
• Take a proactive role in assuring safe, quality products are produced by immediately addressing any safety or quality concerns.
• Consume and containerize labels for product to ensure inventory is correct.
• Move all palletized products to their designated area before being shipped to customers.
• Communicate with supervisor if a potential slowdown is about to happen due to no product available.
• Assist in the staging and loading of all Bell and Evans products in preparation for shipment.
