About The Position

The BIM Technician Assistant provides administrative support and services to the Pre-Construction and Project Support team. This role is primarily focused on BIM/CAD design and modeling support, content creation, and software deployment assistance. The position also involves managing project files, documents, and correspondence, as well as performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No related experience required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the proven ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, or other related software.
• Able to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
• Able to work in a team and independently when required.
• Able to quickly learn and utilize company-specific techniques, standards, and procedures.
• Able to follow department standards, methods, and best practices.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Autodesk/Revit preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides BIM / CAD design and modeling support.
• Assists BIM project team with content creation.
• Assists with software deployment, documentation, and troubleshooting.
• Performs tasks such as file archiving and uploading, laser engraving, generating QR-codes, scanning and printing labels and large format drawings.
• Organize, track, and maintain department files, drawings, materials, documents, and correspondence.
• Maintain all internal and external project files on the network and Procore.
• Performs other duties, tasks and special projects as assigned.
