About The Position

The BIM Specialist position helps facilitate the digital delivery of design projects across AHA offices through project setup, support, and training. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills as you collaborate with others across AHA’s many departments. Requirements

  • Experience working in either Revit or AutoCAD, which a general understanding of terms & workflows
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Excel and Teams
  • Strong communication skills at all levels within an organization, both verbal & written
  • Ability to work both independently &within a team environment
  • Ability to work in the US (AHA is not sponsoring work authorization)
  • Either or both: Professional experience in the AEC industry / Degree/Certificate in CAD, Engineering or similar

Nice To Haves

  • Strong understanding of Autodesk’s cloud platform (Forma)
  • Proficient in Revit usage, including parameters, visibility troubleshooting & family creation
  • Experience with additional software, such as Newforma, Bluebeam & Navisworks

Responsibilities

  • Setup/Update AHA design projects for the team’s use, including creating MEP/FP Revit models, matching client standards
  • Provide design software support, including troubleshooting software issues & implementing solutions, as well as training users in best practices, and standards
  • Maintain content libraries utilizing company standards & parameters
