About The Position

The BIM Modeler is responsible for creating and maintaining accurate 3D models that align with project standards and design intent. This role serves as the foundation of the modeling process, ensuring precision, clarity, and consistency in all deliverables. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and ready to grow within a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

0–3 years in BIM modeling or related field (Revit experience preferred).
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Design, Architecture, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Familiarity with Revit or other BIM tools (training provided for entry-level candidates).
Basic understanding of construction documents and design principles.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new processes and technologies.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Produce geometry that meets BIM standards, design intent, and redlines.
Follow established naming conventions, workset assignments, and parameter requirements.
Model elements to the required Level of Detail (LOD) for each project phase.
Maintain sheet notes, symbols, and annotation accuracy in assigned views.
Apply shared parameters correctly to all modeled elements.
Log progress in checklists and trackers; raise issues early to avoid delays.
Execute revisions promptly based on markups, RFIs, and design changes.
Maintain clean models with minimal warnings and proper family usage.
Support QA/QC efforts by reviewing assigned views and correcting inconsistencies.
Communicate proactively with Coordinators and Leads regarding routing conflicts or missing data.
Participate in training sessions and adopt new workflows/tools as directed.
