About The Position

United Integrated Services (USA) Corp. was founded in Phoenix, Arizona in 2020 as a U.S. subsidiary of United Integrated Services Co., Ltd. (UIS Taiwan), a multidisciplinary engineering and construction company established in 1982. UIS provides fully integrated design-build services to clients in the high-technology industry for manufacturing facility needs, including engineering design, high-tech factory planning, and on-time equipment and material delivery, with a focus on clean-room systems, HVAC, electrical systems, and tool hook-up requiring total coordination. United Integrated Services (USA) is seeking a BIM Modeler to collaborate with lead architects and engineers in developing design documents and creating digital 3D models based on project requirements. The ideal candidate should have experience in Building Information Modeling (BIM) or Visual Design & Construction (VDC) within a commercial construction environment, utilizing REVIT or Navisworks for drawing development. This is a full-time onsite position located in North Phoenix, AZ.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, Construction Engineering, or a relevant field.
  • 2+ years of experience in BIM/VDC coordination.
  • Proficiency in REVIT, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.), and MS Power Apps.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting or independently.
  • Detail oriented, strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • May be required to travel to other sites within Arizona to perform certain work functions.
  • International travel may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret and understand architectural and structural drawings and details.
  • Produce new drawings or edit existing prints based on system department needs and directions.
  • Coordinate and monitor shop drawing submission schedule.
  • Demonstrate an understanding or accurate drafting methods, layering, X-References, dimensioning, model space/paper space, viewports, and scaling.
  • Ability to use REVIT and Navisworks to develop and monitor designs.
  • Monitor and detect clashes within drawings, using Navisworks.
  • Update models to reflect as-built conditions.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
