About The Position

NV5 is seeking an experienced, highly motivated BIM Manager to join their team. This role serves as a strategic and technical leader supporting Architects and Building Owners through BIM standards, project workflows, and client-facing delivery. The position focuses on improving how BIM is implemented, used, and scaled across client organizations. The BIM Manager will lead and support BIM Specialists, guide project teams, develop and enforce standards, oversee complex BIM workflows, and act as a trusted advisor to clients. This role is supported by a collaborative team of BIM Managers, Sr. BIM Managers, Directors, and technical specialists, with opportunities to influence standards, mentor others, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience using Revit in an architectural or BIM leadership role
  • Bachelor of Architecture degree (or equivalent degree) is required
  • Proven experience managing BIM standards, templates, and workflows across multiple projects or clients
  • Strong working knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC / BIM 360)
  • Experience with training, mentoring, or leading BIM users and project teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work directly with clients and stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage BIM services for architectural and owner clients using Revit and related platforms
  • Serve as the primary BIM point of contact for assigned clients and projects
  • Develop, implement, and maintain Revit templates, family libraries, standards, and workflows
  • Guide project teams through BIM strategy, project kickoffs, and execution planning
  • Provide advanced technical support and oversight for Revit-based projects, including Scan‑to‑BIM workflows
  • Establish and monitor project health checks, ensuring standards compliance, model quality, and delivery success
  • Develop client‑specific BIM goals and implementation strategies aligned with project and organizational objectives
  • Deliver and oversee training programs, documentation, and best practice resources for client teams
  • Support Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) project setup, permissions, and workflows
  • Collaborate with client IT teams on infrastructure, licensing, and system requirements
  • Assist with Autodesk license management and integration of add‑ins (Ideate, Enscape, Navisworks, Dynamo, etc.)
  • Contribute to research, development, and continuous improvement initiatives within the BIM team
  • Mentor junior BIM staff and support knowledge sharing across the organization
  • Apply sound judgment and problem‑solving skills to support conflict resolution and BIM adoption challenges
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the architectural design process from pre‑design through construction administration
