About The Position
Garver's Water Design Center (WDC) in Greenville, SC is seeking a passionate BIM Intern to join their team of water treatment facility planning and design experts. This internship offers hands-on experience in design within a dynamic and professional environment, contributing to innovative solutions for community water needs. The intern will be part of a dedicated team committed to making a tangible difference.
Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Candidates must be pursuing a Computer Aided Design associates degree
Nice To Haves
- Proficient in Autodesk Revit
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Previous internship experience
Responsibilities
- Develop 3D Revit models
- Create plans, sections, and details in Revit and AutoCAD software
- Work as a team player with a group of technicians and designers, of various levels and disciplines (process, structural, mechanical, electrical etc.) and working with Project Managers and design teams to execute projects
- Arrange necessary resources for file sharing and communication to effectively share design files across the company or with clients, sub consultants, and contractors
- Maintain strong communication with engineers and project managers to ensure timely delivery of projects and avoid any potential project conflicts
- QA/QC and ensure that all projects adhere to company CAD/BIM standards
