About The Position
We are seeking a Senior Chemical Design Technician with strong BIM/CAD and piping design experience to support process and mechanical layout projects. This role focuses on managing 3D design standards, coordinating BIM workflows, and supporting design teams on complex engineering projects.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in process/mechanical piping layout and design
- 3+ years of BIM/CAD administration experience
- Advanced proficiency in Revit (3D design and BIM administration)
- Strong knowledge of BIM/CAD standards and workflows
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Navisworks preferred
- Semiconductor or microelectronics experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Set up project-specific BIM/CAD environments for 3D deliverables
- Perform clash detection and coordinate resolution efforts
- Maintain and update BIM/CAD standards and workflows
- Support piping design teams with technical and administrative BIM needs
- Develop training materials and assist with designer onboarding
- Coordinate with design automation and engineering teams
- Facilitate communication between designers and project leads
