About The Position

Grant-funded Time-limited position. The Fulton County Board of Health provides a variety of services that help protect residents from health threats, increase access to health services to improve health outcomes, and provide information that assists Fulton County citizens in living healthier lives. The agency is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the position of Billings Spec 2 within the Fulton County Board of Health in the Department of Administration Services Division.

Requirements

High school diploma/GED and two (2) years of job-related experience in accounting, billing, or budget services; or one (1) year of job-related experience at the lower level Billing Spec 1 (FIP070) or position equivalent.

Responsibilities

Under general supervision, plans, organizes and manages the operation of the billing functions such as preparation and distribution of invoices, third party payers, preparing claims and posting cash receipts.
Analyzes complex billing data and prepares reports for revenue and expenses and other statistical data.
Maintain compliance with all regulatory and accrediting institutions.
