About The Position
Missouri Ozarks Community Health is growing! We are currently accepting applications for full-time Billing Support based out of our Ava, MO location. This position will be responsible for the daily billing operations at Missouri Ozarks Community Health.
Requirements
- Billing experience required.
Nice To Haves
- A working knowledge of third party payer systems including but not limited to Medicare, Medicaid, commercial/private insurance, and Department of Health programs preferred.
- Two to four years' experience in healthcare industry preferred.
- Working knowledge of Epic EHR is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Review of medical, dental, and behavioral health charges and posting daily
- Review of claims processing, edit checks, and denied claims corrections
- Creating reports
- Remaining current on billing codes and practices
