About The Position

We are seeking an experienced AMCS (Waste Industry ERP) Tower Manager and Revenue Billing Supervisor with specialized expertise in AMCS Tower ERP and PC Scale software. This leadership role combines hands-on system administration of legacy AMCS products with supervisory oversight of regional teams and in-depth revenue and billing analysis. The successful candidate will manage a team of regional Tower Administrators and Billing Analysts while ensuring accurate invoicing, maximized profitability, and operational efficiency across multiple locations in our waste management operations.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with AMCS Tower and/or PC Scale software in a waste management or recycling environment (legacy system expertise required).
  • 2+ years of proven supervisory or team leadership experience, ideally managing distributed/regional teams in systems administration, billing, or revenue operations within the waste/recycling industry.
  • Strong background in revenue management, billing analysis, or financial operations, with experience overseeing team output for accuracy and efficiency.
  • In-depth understanding of waste management processes, including weighbridge/scale operations, variable pricing models, contract billing, and order-to-cash cycles.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel advanced functions, SQL queries a plus) and generating actionable insights from ERP data.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail for identifying and resolving billing inaccuracies at both individual and team levels.
  • Experience with ERP systems integration, basic IT administration, and managing user access/configurations across regions.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of modern AMCS Platform modules (e.g., Scale House, Billing, Analytics) is a plus, especially for guiding potential system upgrades.

Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise and manage a team of regional Tower Administrators and Billing Analysts. Provide guidance, training, performance evaluations, workload distribution, and professional development to ensure consistent system usage, billing accuracy, and team performance across regions.
  • Administer, configure, and maintain the AMCS Tower system, including modules for enterprise management, order-to-cash processes, contract management, and operational workflows specific to waste and recycling. Oversee regional administrators in day-to-day system maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Manage PC Scale ticketing and weighing software for accurate inbound/outbound transactions at scale houses, transfer stations, landfills, and recycling facilities. Ensure seamless integration with Tower and guide regional teams on best practices.
  • Review and validate customer invoices generated from scale data, contracts, and service agreements. Lead the team in identifying billing discrepancies, adjustments, and revenue leakage; perform and oversee root-cause analysis on invoicing errors or under/over-billing.
  • Generate and analyze revenue reports, KPIs (e.g., revenue per ton, margin analysis, customer profitability), and billing trends using AMCS tools and supplementary reporting (e.g., Excel, BI tools). Consolidate regional insights and provide actionable recommendations to senior management for pricing strategies and process improvements.
  • Troubleshoot escalated system issues, coordinate with AMCS support for upgrades or patches, and develop training programs for regional staff on Tower and PC Scale functionality.
  • Ensure billing practices comply with industry regulations, contract terms, and environmental standards across regions. Drive standardization and recommend enhancements to optimize or migrate legacy systems toward modern AMCS Platform features.
  • Manage and oversee acquisitions and new facility startups, ensuring proper setup and configuration in the respective applications (AMCS Tower, legacy PCScale systems, and future software such as Navusoft). This includes coordinating with cross-functional teams (e.g., IT, operations, finance, and implementation teams) to migrate data, configure site-specific settings, integrate hardware, establish user roles, and validate system functionality for seamless go-live and ongoing operations.
  • Partner with operations, finance, sales, and IT teams including SAP to align system configurations and regional practices with enterprise business needs, such as route optimization, customer pricing, and material tracking.
