About The Position
Shambaugh & Son L.P. is seeking a Billing Specialist in Fort Wayne, IN. In this position you will be responsible for assisting in all areas in the Billing Department. You will make sure that deadlines are met, and work is completed in a timely fashion.
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Finance and/or Business or equivalent work experience
- Must be a self-starter and able to work with diverse group of construction personnel
- Proficient in Microsoft Access, Word, and Excel
- Dependability, strong work ethic
- Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required
Nice To Haves
- Experience with AS400 a plus
- T&M billing experience a plus
- AIA billing experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Interact daily with Project Managers to get billings out in a timely fashion
- Maintain and keep the billings log to know timing deadlines for billing utilizing AS400
- Interact daily with supervisor and manager to assist them with work orders and paperwork, job submittals, and assure all inventory is updated electronically
- Other duties as assigned
