Sagis Diagnostics is looking to hire a Full-Time Billing Specialist to work Houston Texas. 77092 Day Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm

Requirements

Dependable and punctual with strong attention to detail
Fast learner with ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
Excellent communication skills, especially when working with physician offices
Comfortable navigating EHR systems and billing platforms
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Team-oriented with a proactive mindset
1–2 years in medical billing, preferably in pathology or laboratory services
Experience working with insurance verification and claim corrections

Responsibilities

Reviewing billing queues for missing patient demographics and insurance details
Contact referring physician offices to obtain missing data (e.g., insurance, address, DOB)
Update billing systems with accurate patient information
Collaborate with coding and billing teams to ensure claims are complete and compliant
