About The Position
Arisa Health in Jonesboro is seeking candidates to fill a Billing Specialist position. The position will be responsible for Prior authorizations, verifying insurance, following up with denied claims, and working with insurance companies to ensure payments are received. The ideal candidate should be able to work unsupervised.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with Medicaid, Medicare, and Commercial Insurance
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft applications including, but not limited to Word and Excel and 10-key
- General knowledge of internet navigation and research, email, fax transmission, and copy equipment
- Experience working with insurance websites
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of medical billing office experience is preferred
