About The Position

The Billing Representative is a key member of Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System. The Billing Representative is responsible for the patient accounting process from the time of admission until the patient account is paid in full. Universal Health Services, Inc. Requirements

  • High school graduate with previous health care billing required.
  • Current knowledge of the accounts receivable process and insurance terminology.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with the Business Office Manager, coworkers, and physicians.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to make independent decisions.
  • Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.
  • Ability to perform these operations using units of America money and weight measurements, volume, and distance.
