About The Position

This position will assist the billing office with clerical duties including but not limited to: routine clerical and administrative functions such as correspondence, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, and providing information to callers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient in Google, MS Office Suite or related software
  • Excellent communication and customer relation skill
  • Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with coworkers and patients
  • Professional work ethic and dress code
  • Ability to adhere to productivity goals, departmental and company guidelines, policy and procedures
  • Possess strong organizational skills
  • Understands HIPAA and Red Flag guidelines
  • Maintain highest level of confidentiality
  • Punctual with strong attendance history

Responsibilities

  • Verifying patient demographics
  • Refunding third parties
  • Pulling, printing, and mailing of claims, medical records and EOB’s
  • Data Entry into billing system
  • Other duties and responsibilities, as assigned
