About The Position

Lenape Valley Foundation (LVF) is experiencing continued growth across our behavioral health and human services programs, creating exciting opportunities within our Revenue Cycle team. As we expand our services, we are seeking an experienced Billing Manager to provide leadership, oversight, and strategic direction for our billing operations. This role is ideal for a revenue cycle professional who thrives on process improvement, team development, and ensuring the financial health of a mission-driven organization. This position is on site, allowing for direct collaboration with leadership, billing staff, and operational teams while supporting the continued growth of our organization.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of medical billing experience, including claims submission and insurance follow-up
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience managing billing or revenue cycle staff
  • 3+ years of experience in revenue cycle functions including insurance billing, charge entry, payment posting, reconciliation, insurance verification, and accounts receivable management
  • Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, and managed care regulations
  • Experience with Revenue Cycle and Electronic Health Record systems (Credible preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working collaboratively within a large billing team
  • Commitment to accuracy, compliance, and continuous process improvement

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of billing professionals while overseeing daily department operations.
  • Drive revenue cycle performance through effective management of claims, denials, appeals, payment posting, and accounts receivable.
  • Monitor key metrics, identify trends, and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and cash flow.
  • Serve as the department's subject matter expert for insurance billing, reimbursement, client liabilities, and revenue cycle best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, payer requirements, and state and federal regulations while maintaining billing accuracy.
  • Partner with payers, operational leaders, and internal stakeholders to resolve complex billing issues and improve outcomes.
  • Oversee billing systems, electronic claims processing, and workflow optimization initiatives that support organizational growth.
  • Contribute to strategic decision-making through analysis of reimbursement trends, A/R performance, and payer activity.
