About The Position

Event Temple is a high-growth technology company based in Vancouver, BC, specializing in Hotel Sales and Catering software. We are seeking a Billing & Implementation Specialist to join our Customer Success team. This role is crucial for managing subscription lifecycles, including billing, renewals, and churn processing. Additionally, the specialist will handle data migration for new customers, system setup, and integrations, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, customer-oriented, and capable of providing necessary reporting. This position is remote-friendly for candidates based in Nova Scotia, Canada.

Requirements

  • Minimum two years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in B2B SaaS implementations or billing.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred) and their billing and CS workflows.
  • Experience with data migration tools and techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with Stripe for subscription billing and collections.
  • Ability to identify process inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in data migration, account setups, and documentation.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and processes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for data and for helping customers succeed and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience configuring API integrations between SaaS platforms.
  • Background in hotel sales & catering systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead data migration for new customers, including extraction, analysis, cleaning, and importing data.
  • Configure API integrations between Event Temple and other hotel technology platforms.
  • Set up new customer accounts and user access.
  • Build custom fields, menus, and account configurations per customer specifications.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success Managers on the technical aspects of implementation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data or integration issues.
  • Create and maintain implementation documentation.
  • Provide reports on import scopes, timelines, and challenges.
  • Manage the full subscription billing lifecycle: renewals, invoicing, upgrades, downgrades, cancellations, and churn processing.
  • Manage collections for overdue accounts and reduce delinquent churn.
  • Conduct monthly billing audits for accuracy.
  • Track and report on AR aging, collections rate, and delinquent churn.
  • Maintain accurate records in Stripe and HubSpot, and resolve billing discrepancies.
