Billing Coordinator (Biller) - Hybrid
About The Position
Cranial Technologies is seeking a full-time Billing Coordinator (Biller) to join their Medical Billing and Claims team. The Biller will be responsible for preparing and submitting claims to healthcare insurance companies, entering patient and service data into billing software, and providing support to clinics nationwide regarding patient charges. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking. The company specializes in treating plagiocephaly and ear shape deformities in infants. This role offers a collaborative work environment with passionate employees dedicated to the babies they treat. The team values a positive mindset and a willingness to learn. Cranial Technologies will provide training specific to their unique processes.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1-2 years’ experience in billing and collecting experience
- High attention to detail required
- Investigative, curious and problem-solving mindset
- Exceptional communication and human relations skills in working with people from different backgrounds
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and submitting electronic and paper claims to healthcare insurance companies
- Accurately inputs patient and service data into billing software
- Provides internal support to our clinics nationwide regarding patient charges
- Maintains professional knowledge regarding medical billing and insurance carriers
- Ensures confidentiality of patient information and other sensitive data
