Requirements

Understanding Insurance and Explanation of benefits
Previous high volume posting experience.
Understanding of Dental terminology
Detail oriented with great organizational skills.
Typing/Data Entry Skills
Ability to prioritize workload to achieve set timelines/goals.
Ability to work independently as well as with a team.

Nice To Haves

Dentrix, Eaglesoft or Open Dental software experience preferred.
MS Office Suite knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

Timely posting of all lockbox payments for assigned partner offices.
Timely posting of EFT Medicaid payments for assigned partner offices
Properly itemizing payment
Making the proper adjustments to patient ledgers according to the Explanation of benefits and company standards
Balancing deposit slip
Create Issue traks for all denials received for further review.
File secondary claims as needed.
Proper distribution of any correspondence received through lockbox to other departments.
Submit refund request as needed.
Complete other projects as assigned.
