About The Position
The Billing and Reimbursement Data Coordinator acts as a liaison between Hospital and Clinic departments to ensure proper collections, maintenance and quality of demographics and financial data; maintains data in the computer system and provides clerical backup to the reception and registration functions of the department and assist in training of staff.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One year of data entry experience in a medical office setting, to include experience working with medical and/or health insurance terminology
Nice To Haves
- Working knowledge of IDX physicians' billing software is a major asset
- More than one year of data entry/medical coding experience
- Knowledge of group medical practice
- Experience in analyzing data
