About The Position
TriCare Medical Transportation is seeking an experienced Billing Associate to join their growing team. TriCare Medical Transportation is South Jersey’s premier medical transportation company, operating 24/7 with over 300 employees and 130 vehicles, serving from headquarters in Pleasantville, NJ and two satellite locations in Vineland and Cherry Hill.
Requirements
- Availability to multitask with a keen attention to detail
- Proficient computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in high pressure situations
- Clean background check
- Negative drug screening
- Ability to work full time in an in person setting
Nice To Haves
- Experience dealing with major insurance companies and patient scheduling is preferred
Responsibilities
- Verify insurance benefits
- Communicate with insurance companies regarding denials and appeals
- Ensure trips are billed within a timely filing limit
- Payment tracking and follow up
- Manage revenue cycles
