Requirements

An associate's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field
At least 2 years of experience in billing, finance, or administrative support
Comfort with Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Excellent communication skills and a genuine customer-first mindset
Discretion and integrity when handling sensitive financial information

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree
Nonprofit or youth-services experience
Billing or accounting software experience

Responsibilities

Manage family accounts and registrations
Walk parents through billing policies and payment options
Enter membership and attendance data across systems like Kinderconnect, MyClubHub, the Missouri Childcare Subsidy system, and MADS
Own the full billing cycle — from invoicing and tracking payments to reconciling daily transactions
Follow up on past-due accounts with professionalism and empathy
Partner with our Finance team on monthly reporting, reconciliations, and audit prep
Help make sure our numbers are accurate for grant reporting and food program compliance
