Xperi Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Billing Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. As a Billing Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the billing processes, maintaining excellent client relationships, and contributing to the financial health of our organization. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong aptitude for numbers and a keen eye for detail.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; equivalent job-related experience/knowledge may be a substitute
  • 2+ years of experience in billing, accounting, or financial analysis
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients
  • Knowledge of billing practices and regulations
  • Experience with financial reporting and analysis
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Review and verify the accuracy of billing data, invoices, and supporting documents
  • Generate and send out invoices to clients promptly
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or issues
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure billing processes align with company policies and procedures
  • Analyze billing trends and provide insights to improve billing processes
  • Maintain accurate records of invoices and financial transactions
  • Prepare reports on billing activities and financial performance as needed
  • Assist with month-end closing activities related to billing
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders regarding billing inquiries
  • Complete ad hoc projects when assigned and assist with internal and external audits when necessary
