About The Position

URS audits how multifamily and commercial real estate owners bill their residents for utilities and helps them recover costs and increase net operating income. We also provide On-Call and Development Services. This role sits on the team that bills our clients for that work. We hire for character and teach the job. You do not need experience in our industry. We want someone who is precise, curious, and eager to learn, who likes getting data exactly right, and who uses modern tools, including AI, to build better ways of working. Invoicing, accounts receivable, or billing operations experience
Property management, multifamily, or commercial real estate experience
Experience with NetSuite or another ERP system

Responsibilities

Prepare and review monthly invoices for an assigned set of clients or services and make sure every client is billed correctly and on time.
Respond to owners and property managers about URS invoices, fees, and account questions. Explain charges in plain language and follow every issue through to resolution.
When new audit work or services begin, set up the billing items, rates, and account details accurately, working with our Audit and Implementation teams.
Find the manual, repetitive steps in our billing process and use tools, including AI, to make them faster and more accurate. Then check that they work.
Step in on teammates’ accounts during absences and busy deadlines. No task is too small.
