About The Position

Tower Products Incorporated is looking for a detail-driven, technically curious professional to join our Brands Team as a Bill of Materials (BOM) Specialist. In this hybrid technical role, you will work closely with our Brands Manager, Manufacturing, R&D, Engineering, Sales, and customer support teams to ensure our product data, manufacturing processes, and customer interactions are accurate, efficient, and seamlessly executed. Requirements

  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand product structure, manufacturing processes, and engineering documentation
  • Experience with data organization, analysis, and pattern recognition
  • Exceptional attention to detail when managing complex data and BOM structures
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience handling large datasets
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on open issues

Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, audit, and update Bills of Materials (BOMs), including large-scale or mass BOM changes
  • Manage product and item master data, import sheets, and critical data transfers to support manufacturing, engineering, and business operations.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency across all product and manufacturing data systems
  • Analyze and report on product, inventory, and manufacturing data using Excel and other business systems.
  • Support manufacturing and engineering with product questions, labeling requirements, configuration updates, design clarifications, and issue resolution.
  • Provide technical and operational support to internal staff as well as external customers, vendors, or partners as needed.
  • Partner with engineering, production, purchasing, and returns teams to resolve issues
  • Communicate material variances, process inconsistencies, and production needs
  • Provide timely technical support to internal teams and external customers or vendors
  • Develop workflow documentation, diagrams, and process improvements
  • Support change management initiatives and system updates
  • Monitor data quality and help implement corrective actions
  • Review open work orders daily and follow up with relevant teams
  • Help prioritize manufacturing needs across brands
  • Communicate and coordinate rush orders to meet customer expectations
