This is a full-time, 12-month position, 218 days a year, working 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, with flexibility for evening work with parents. The Bilingual Wrap-Around Services Coordinator will serve as the Marlborough Public Schools (MPS) point of contact and liaison with outside agencies and organizations to provide wrap-around services for students, including counseling, food bank, South Middlesex Opportunity Council (SMOC), and Marlborough Hospital. This role is crucial for supporting enrolled students and families, especially those newly enrolling or demonstrating a need for assistance with food, shelter, and healthcare resources. The coordinator will establish and maintain a database of community resources and a working document for staff access, facilitate communication between school administrators and School Adjustment Counselors (SACs) regarding available services, and assist families with applications for MassHealth, SNAP, and housing assistance, as well as referrals for legal aid and healthcare. This position is grant-funded through the McKinney-Vento (MKV) Grant.
