About The Position

The R1 Bilingual Video Editor plays a critical role in producing high-quality video content that effectively communicates messages to diverse audiences in both English and Spanish. This position is responsible for editing raw footage into polished videos that meet brand standards and project objectives, ensuring cultural relevance and linguistic accuracy. The editor collaborates closely with The Television Program Director, content creators, marketing teams, and project managers to deliver engaging multimedia materials that support organizational goals. Attention to detail and creativity are essential to enhance storytelling through visual and audio elements while maintaining consistency across platforms. Ultimately, this role contributes to expanding the organization's reach and impact by delivering compelling video in Spanish and English content tailored to target demographics.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio demonstrating bilingual (English and Spanish) video editing skills.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva, or similar tools.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
  • Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and digital media workflows.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with motion graphics and animation software such as After Effects.
  • Background in marketing, communications, or multimedia production.
  • Knowledge of cultural nuances and trends relevant to bilingual audiences in the United States.
  • Familiarity with social media video content requirements and optimization techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Edit and assemble raw video footage into finished products that align with project briefs and brand guidelines.
