Requirements

  • Proven experience as a caregiver, preferably with seniors
  • Clear background check and references
  • Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and proof of insurance
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or complete within first 30 days of employment)
  • Active HCA (Home Care Aide) registration
  • Recent TB test result (within the last 24 months)
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
  • Ability to lift and transfer clients safely (up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation)
  • Stamina to stand, sit, and engage in physical activities for extended periods
  • Visual and auditory acuity to monitor clients' well-being

Responsibilities

  • Provide care to clients at a professional level
  • Offer companionship and conversation
  • Assist seniors with basic needs such as showering, bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Provide transportation
  • Give medication reminders
