About The Position

The Bilingual Spanish Tutor supports middle school and high school students who need Spanish-speaking tutoring support. The role provides one-on-one and small-group tutoring in core subjects, including math, reading, writing, social studies, and science, as well as Regents exam preparation. Tutors collaborate with teachers and school leaders to deliver engaging, personalized learning strategies that support students’ academic and personal growth. The position is based at an assigned school and offers a flexible schedule of 10–35 hours per week.

Requirements

• Be a degree-seeking student or graduate in education or a relevant field.
• Have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Be available to work 10–35 hours per week at an assigned school.
• Have a passion for supporting academic and personal success, especially for underserved students.
• Be ready to collaborate with teachers, school leaders, and fellow tutors.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small-group tutoring to middle school or high school students.
• Tutor students in core subjects such as math, reading, writing, social studies, and science, and support Regents exam preparation.
