About The Position

Bilingual Spanish speaking tutors will provide targeted, in-person academic support for 3rd–5th grade Students in Temporary Housing (STH) during the school day. The program will run on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8 am to 2:30 pm. This role offers competitive pay, the opportunity to earn a program completion bonus, and a flexible schedule of 10-35 hours per week. Requirements

• Bilingual Spanish speaking ability.
• Available to work Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8 am to 2:30 pm.
• Available to work 10-35 hours per week.
• Degree-seeking student or graduate with a minimum 3.0 GPA in Education or a relevant field.
• Passion for Learning: Dedicated to supporting academic and personal success, especially for underserved students.
• Collaborative Spirit: Ready to work alongside teachers, school leaders, and fellow tutors to maximize student success.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring in core subjects like Math, Reading, Writing, Social Studies, Science, and Regents exam prep.
• Collaborate with teachers and school leaders to deliver engaging, personalized learning strategies that help students thrive academically and personally.
