About The Position

This position requires the candidate to be bilingual in Spanish. The bilingual Imaging Scheduling position exists to assist bi-lingual patients the ability to schedule any related imaging appointments at multiple Carolina Imaging facilities via EPIC.

Requirements

• Must be bilingual in Spanish
• 1 to 3 years in a healthcare position and/or customer service role
• Experience using a phone system, fax, etc.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Outlook
• Long periods of sitting
• Multitasking proficiency
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Repetitive handwork
• Work independently
• Organizational and Interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

• Customer service and computer experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Schedule any CT, MRI, US, or related appointment
• Provides information to the patient regarding appointments, insurance, or authorization status
• Maintains effective documentation that applies to patient records
• Schedule bi-lingual patients at assigned location per EPIC schedule
• Various duties throughout the department
