About The Position
Charlotte Radiology, a leader in clinical imaging services for over 50 years, is seeking a full-time Bilingual (Spanish) Patient Scheduler. This role is crucial for assisting Spanish-speaking patients in scheduling their imaging appointments across multiple Carolina Imaging facilities using the EPIC system. The position operates Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, at the Charlotte, NC location. This role requires a candidate who is fluent in Spanish and dedicated to delivering quality-driven, customer-focused services.
Requirements
- Must be bilingual in Spanish
- 1 to 3 years in a healthcare position and/or customer service role
- High School Diploma
- Experience using a phone system, fax, etc.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Outlook
- Long periods of sitting
- Multitasking proficiency
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Repetitive handwork
- Work independently
- Organizational and Interpersonal skills
- Lift 25lbs
Nice To Haves
- Customer service and computer experience preferred
- Travel required: 0 – 25%
Responsibilities
- Schedule any CT, MRI, US, or related appointment
- Provides information to the patient regarding appointments, insurance, or authorization status
- Maintains effective documentation that applies to patient records
- Schedule bi-lingual patients at assigned location per EPIC schedule
- Various duties throughout the department
