About The Position
Oscar Medical Group runs a Virtual Health Assessment (VHA) program that outreaches and virtually engages Oscar Health Insurance members in an evaluation and management visit. You may also be cross-trained to help support teams across Oscar Medical Group, including Virtual Urgent Care. At Oscar Medical Group, we are refactoring healthcare. Requirements
- DNP, FNP, ENP, or PA from accredited program
- Board Certification (NCCPA or AANP or ANCC)
- 3+ years experience in outpatient Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care
- 2+ years of experience delivering virtual care
- Licensed in a minimum of 2 core Oscar States: Must have FL License
- Preferred TX, OH or NJ
- Demonstrated fluency in written and spoken Spanish
Nice To Haves
- Compact RN license (if an APRN)
- Experience working with remote diagnostic and home monitoring tools
- Able and willing to obtain additional licensure in Oscar Medical Group states
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care for patients in a virtual setting
- Use prescriptive authority as part of a collaborative practice agreement, consulting and partnering with Physicians on the care team for comprehensive care, particularly with complex patients
- Follow up on labs, imaging, and closed loop communication with patients and other providers
- Use tooling to allow virtual "exams" including remote home monitoring equipment, remote physical exam, remote point of care diagnostics
- Participate in collaborative care model with multiple care team members including registered nurses, medical assistants, PCPs, behavioral health clinicians, and clinical supervisor where applicable
- Participate in required meetings to support patient care including huddles, case conferencing and regular service line All Hands
- Provide feedback to support improvement in operational workflows and product features
- Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
