Bilingual Spanish Member Experience Associate
About The Position
The Member Experience Associate delivers outstanding service and value to AAA Members through genuine care, personal service, and by meeting their needs and expectations across multiple branch locations. The role is responsible for achieving individual sales targets and contributes to overall branch success as an individual contributor. Associates rotate between branches based on business needs and must adapt to different environments, teams, products, services, and systems. The position provides Member Services and product sales, including services related to Concierge, DMV/MVD, Auto Travel, Unlicensed Insurance Services, and Smart Home Security. Associates use consultative sales techniques to identify Member needs, recommend solutions, promote AAA products and services, and meet individual and branch goals while following operating procedures and compliance requirements. Branch hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a rotational Saturday schedule. This role requires flexibility to cover shifts at multiple locations and regular travel between branches. Pay is $24.60 per hour in Capitola; starting rates vary by region from $23.00 to $26.95 per hour. The role includes commissions, with most employees expected to earn $270–$3,500 in annual incentives, contingent on performance.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2–4 years of work experience, including at least 1 year in a sales role.
- Sales experience is required.
- Strong customer service orientation, problem-solving ability, and professional, friendly communication.
- Ability to meet sales goals through active listening, identifying needs, presenting solutions, and closing sales.
- Ability to adapt communication style and work effectively with different branch teams and Member bases.
- Proficiency with multiple computer systems and applications, with the ability to adapt to different system configurations and processes.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and compliance requirements and demonstrate fiduciary accountability.
- Demonstrated adaptability, willingness to travel, and flexibility to cover shifts at multiple locations.
- Availability to work at different branch locations and on Saturdays.
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, and lift up to 15 pounds; work at a desk or computer workstation for extended periods.
- Bonding, fingerprinting, and P&C licensing may be required depending on branch needs.

Responsibilities
- Deliver professional, friendly Member service and provide product sales across multiple branch locations.
- Meet individual sales goals and contribute to branch goals by promoting AAA products and services.
- Use consultative sales techniques to uncover Member needs, present relevant solutions, and close sales.
- Anticipate Member needs and adapt recommendations and service to the branch environment.
- Provide services across fundamental areas including Member Services, Concierge, DMV/MVD, Auto Travel, Unlicensed Insurance Services, and Smart Home Security, as branch needs require.
- Build cross-functional skills across fundamental and growth skills to flex between service and sales responsibilities.
- Learn and use AAA products, services, operations, computer systems, and applications across different branches.
- Follow standard operating procedures and compliance requirements and support efficient end-to-end processes.
- Travel between assigned branch locations and cover shifts, including Saturdays, as needed.
