26 -27 Bilingual School Counselor (Spanish/English)
About The Position
Our Organization is partnering with an Illinois school district to identify a compassionate Bilingual School Counselor for a full-time leave assignment serving a middle school population. This temporary opportunity will run from August 11 through November 16 and is ideal for a counselor who is passionate about helping students navigate academic, personal, and social-emotional challenges. As a key member of the student support team, you will provide guidance, advocacy, and counseling services while building meaningful relationships with students, families, and school staff. Your bilingual skills will help create stronger connections and ensure students receive the support needed to succeed.
Requirements
- Fluency in Spanish and English required.
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Counselor endorsement.
Nice To Haves
- Previous school counseling experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
Responsibilities
