About The Position

Contract Safety Professionals LLC (CSP) is seeking an experienced Bilingual Safety Trainer / Safety Professional to support a large-scale general contractor project across two active Texas job sites. This is a long-term opportunity spanning 20+ months with competitive pay ranging from $45 to $65 per hour. Per diem is available for eligible candidates. Contract Safety Professionals LLC (CSP) is a veteran-owned (SDVOSB), minority business enterprise (MBE/NMSDC-certified) safety staffing and consulting firm based in Albuquerque, NM. We place credentialed safety professionals on high-consequence construction and industrial projects nationwide, including semiconductor fabrication, hyperscale data centers, and heavy civil work.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of construction safety experience in a field-based role
  • Current OSHA 500 (Trainer Course for Construction) certification
  • Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (spoken and written, required)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage documentation across multiple work areas
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
  • Ability to work Monday through Saturday, 50 to 60 hours per week

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting Mission Critical, Data Center, Healthcare, or hyperscale infrastructure construction projects
  • Familiarity with large general contractor safety management systems and subcontractor oversight programs
  • Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) or Safety Management Professional (SMP) certification

Responsibilities

  • Deliver safety training in both English and Spanish to craft workers, supervisors, and subcontractor personnel across active construction sites
  • Conduct new hire orientations, toolbox talks, and task-specific training sessions in a bilingual format
  • Enforce OSHA 29 CFR 1926 safety standards and general contractor safety requirements on a daily basis
  • Perform routine site inspections and hazard assessments, documenting findings and corrective actions promptly
  • Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action plan development
  • Coordinate with project superintendents and subcontractor safety representatives to maintain site compliance
  • Track training records, certifications, and documentation using project management and MS Office tools
  • Mentor craft workers on safety culture, Stop Work Authority, and hazard recognition
