About The Position

The Bilingual RN works in a busy practice and shares a variety of responsibilities. Using nursing assessment skills and clinical protocol guidelines, the RN makes decisions to provide timely and efficient patient care at Clinica Santa Maria. The role includes telephone triage, medication refills, new consult evaluations, patient education, clerical functions, Medical Assistant functions, and environmental duties that support team objectives. This is a full-time, first-shift position with a 4x9 schedule, Monday through Friday, with no weekends or holidays. Requirements

Graduate from an accredited nursing school and program.
Associate degree in nursing required.
Licensed in the State of Michigan.
At least 1 year of experience as an RN; new graduates must apply to the RN residency, which takes place three times a year in February, July, and October.
Fluent in Spanish.
In Grand Rapids, ADN-prepared nurses must enroll in a BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete it within 4 years of hire.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Specialty credentialing according to the clinical nursing practice specialty area preferred.
