About The Position

This role is for a Bilingual Registered Nurse (RN) who is approachable, willing to help their team, and maintains a positive attitude. The position offers a great team relationship and the opportunity to work independently at the top of your scope, collaborating with providers as an equal. The nurse will lead by example and must be bilingual in English and Spanish.

Requirements

Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
Openness to receive feedback and a willingness to learn.
Desire to work the full scope of your RN license.
Ability to adapt to frequent changes in a fast-paced clinic.
Knowing how to plan your resources.
Strong initiative to assist your team.

Responsibilities

Attend to the needs of the team including injections, medication administration and patient education.
Work at the top of your scope doing independent Nurse Visits such as wound care, managing INRs, Hypertension visits, UTI’s, etc.
Follow up with abnormal lab results and treating per protocol.
Do Co-visits where you will evaluate patients, in collaboration with the provider, and treat patients with acute needs to help create access for patients.
Triage any walk-in patients.
Build teamwork by attending huddles before the start of shifts to review any anticipated nurse needs during that shift.
