About The Position

D & M Behavioral Solutions of Hollywood, FL is looking to hire a part-time or full-time bilingual (English and Spanish or Haitian Creole) Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). This role involves partnering with families to carry out ABA treatment plans that build communication, social interaction, and daily living skills. The RBT works one-on-one with children in various settings, delivering ABA therapy through games, play, and everyday routines, while collecting data and collaborating with BCBAs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current RBT certification (or completed 40-hour training and the ability to certify within 180 days).
  • Fluent in English and Spanish or Haitian Creole.
  • Valid Florida driver license, reliable car, and auto insurance.
  • A tablet or laptop for session notes.
  • Ability to pass a Florida Level 2 background screening.
  • A genuine love for working with kids and families.
  • Patience, reliability, and strong communication with families and teammates.
  • Experience with children with autism is a plus, but multiple factors will be taken into consideration.
  • Organized and attentive to detail.
  • Works well both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Implements individualized treatment plans under the direction of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Teaches communication, social, play, and daily living skills through play-based and naturalistic ABA.
  • Collects accurate data in real time and completes session notes in ABA Matrix within 24 hours.
  • Responds to challenging behavior using the strategies in the behavior plan.
  • Checks in and out of every session at the point of care.
  • Communicates professionally with caregivers, BCBAs, and the treatment team.
  • Participates in monthly supervision and ongoing training.
  • Maintains client confidentiality and follows D & M policies and the RBT Ethics Code.
