About The Position

Ascend Staffing is hiring a Bilingual Recruiter in the Romeoville, Illinois area. The recruiter hires, interviews, onboards, and manages employees placed at client worksites. The role also supports daily branch operations and customer service, including daily in-person and phone contact with client general managers. Recruiters use the company ATS to manage recruiting and placement activities and work with the Branch Manager to complete weekly goals. Regular, reliable on-site attendance is an essential function of the position. The role includes participation in an on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Good personal-computer knowledge and ability to use programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and email effectively.
• Social media recruiting experience.
• Excellent communication skills over the phone and in person.
• Record-keeping skills.
• Self-motivated.
• Ability to build and maintain lasting customer relationships.
• Good phone and instant-message etiquette.
• Ability to prioritize urgent tasks as needed.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must be able to pass a drug and background check.

• Prior knowledge of scheduling and planning.
• Prior knowledge of email and calendar use.

Responsibilities

• Screen, interview, hire, orient, and place field employees, and monitor their work performance using the company ATS system.
• Use social media platforms, job boards, and recruiting tools to find candidates and schedule appointments and interviews.
• Work with the Branch Manager to set and complete weekly goals.
• Complete new-hire paperwork for field employees.
• Build and maintain relationships with branch clients.
• Participate in an on-call rotation.
• Provide customer service and maintain daily in-person and phone contact with client general managers.
• Answer phones and perform computer work concurrently.
• Maintain regular and reliable on-site attendance.
