About The Position

The Recruiter is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle across a high-volume, fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on skilled trades roles. This position partners closely with hiring managers and HR colleagues to deliver timely, high-quality hiring solutions aligned with business needs. The role requires fluency in both English and French and is based in Burlington.

Requirements

3–5 years of end-to-end recruitment experience, preferably in high-volume and/or skilled trades environments
Bilingual in English and French, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages
Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience
Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and employment standards
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills

Nice To Haves

Experience recruiting in construction, HVAC, industrial, or trades-based industries is a strong asset

Responsibilities

Manage the full recruitment cycle for unionized and non-unionized roles, with an emphasis on skilled trades and high-volume hiring
Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, role requirements, and recruitment strategies
Develop and post job ads, source candidates through multiple channels, and build talent pipelines
Screen and interview candidates, assess qualifications, and coordinate interviews with hiring teams
Provide an excellent candidate experience through clear, timely, and professional communication
Advise hiring managers on market conditions, compensation expectations, and recruitment best practices
Manage offers, reference checks, and pre-employment requirements
Maintain accurate recruitment records and reporting within the applicant tracking system
Support recruitment-related projects and process improvements as needed
