About The Position

GCP PAPER USA, Inc. is seeking a welcoming, organized, and highly dependable Bilingual Receptionist (English / Spanish) to serve as the face of our manufacturing plant in New Caney, TX. In this key role, you will manage front-desk operations, extend professional bilingual customer service to all visitors, vendors, job applicants, and coordinate central plant communications. You will uphold company security and visitor access policies, support daily administrative and clerical tasks across departments, and ensure the front reception area remains safe, orderly, and presentable at all times.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Full professional fluency in both English and Spanish required (written, reading, and verbal communication)
  • 1–3 years of experience in a front-desk, receptionist, or customer-facing administrative role
  • Friendly and professional demeanor, strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, punctual attendance, and ability to handle front-desk interruptions smoothly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree or administrative certification preferred
  • experience in manufacturing, industrial, or distribution settings preferred
  • familiarity with digital visitor check-in software or multi-line phone systems preferred

Responsibilities

  • Greet all arriving employees, guests, job applicants, vendors, and contractors in both English and Spanish; enforce facility security check-in protocols, issue visitor badges, and conduct basic bilingual safety orientations prior to plant access.
  • Answer central incoming phone calls promptly in English and Spanish, route calls efficiently to the appropriate plant departments or personnel, take detailed messages, and manage central email inboxes.
  • Receive, sort, and log daily incoming physical mail and small parcel packages; manage outgoing mail and coordinate courier/freight document pickups with logistics personnel.
  • Maintain a clean, secure, and presentable front lobby and reception area; monitor front entrance security access systems in compliance with corporate safety guidelines.
  • Perform routine administrative tasks including file scanning, copying, sorting paperwork, assembling meeting folders, and assisting cross-functional teams with clerical projects as assigned.
  • Monitor front-desk and central office supply inventories, track usage levels, and place routine replenishment orders to support plant administrative operations.
  • Assist in scheduling conference rooms, preparing meeting agendas, greeting external meeting attendees, and coordinating catering or beverage setups for internal site events.
  • Ensure all front-desk procedures comply with OSHA warehouse and plant safety regulations, corporate Code of Ethics, ISO 9001:2015 quality standards, and FSC environmental protocols.
